Spray paint is one of the most versatile DIY tools out there and gold spray paint has to be my favorite color. It adds great colors, texture, and depth to all sorts of DIY projects.

This Brooke from What’s Up Moms uses gold spray paint to paint out of the ordinary items that end up looking fantastic!

DYI Spray Painting Tips

Always remember that when you spray to do it outside. It has a very strong, chemical smell that can get overwhelming in small spaces.

Another great tip to remember is to use gloves! It can get very messy and can sometimes take a bit to come off.

Tips for Easy Drying and Even Coats

Use short light strokes when spraying and make sure to spray 8-12 inches away.

Allow at least 5 minutes of drying time in between coats. Try to do the bottom of the items first, let them dry, finish off with the top, then move on to the final coat after drying time.
